On 11 October 2007 there was a well-attended Product Owners Meeting held at the Carousel. Attendees included major sponsor Makro, FNB, and Mamba Online.

It was an extremely interesting and useful session for everyone.

Makro outlined the services they offer for the hospitality industry, including:

• significant discounts (conditions applicable)

• tele/fax/email pre-ordering so that you simply collect your pre-packed goods at the store

• delivery to your doorstep

FNB explained various stats on the tourism industry, and financial packages tailored to the hospitality industry.

Mamba Online explained their online booking system which is being considered for future use within the DB5 Reserve.

And of course the most exciting event was the official distribution of the first Dinokeng Newsletter! It is a wonderful publication made possible by Alison Odendaal from Pottering About Studios (082-407-4560), Megan Roxton Wiggell (083-618-7883), and Imageprint.
